summer vacation

I used to think summer vacation was a break for the kids. But it's really for the teachers. Teaching is hard work. You have to create lessons ,teach them, grade them, and after all that, you have to put up with about 25 kids who don't want to learn. It gives me a head ache just thinking about it!
This reminds me a substitute. When you're of these, kids think they can do whatever they want.
But kids need a break too. If you think about it, principals work all summer. When there's no kids to get trouble! This made me wonder, why are they always getting into too much of your business? Last year, they were concerned about fifth graders having facebook accounts. I realized they cause trouble, but if our parents will let us have one, that's their decision.

Well, that was my first review. I thought I should also tell you about my birthday. It was a blast! I had a sleepover birthday party with my friends and got tons of cool presents. Thanks everyone!

  1. I'm glad your birthday was so much fun!

I bet that having a mom for a teacher has helped you learn WAY more about how hard their job is. Your mom is awesome!

And yeah-- why should the school care if fifth graders have facebook accounts? (Wait. They aren't using facebook DURING school, right? Then who cares?!)

    I love you, Kara!
